No-Hub Coupling Installation & Inspection Checklist

1. Pre-Installation Check  

- Pipe ends clean, smooth, no burrs, no rust, no grease

- Pipe diameter within standard DN50–DN200 range

- Rubber gasket undamaged, no cracks or deformation

- Stainless steel shield complete, bolts/nuts complete and functional

- Pipe alignment prepared, installation space sufficient

2. Installation Procedure  
3. Slide rubber gasket fully onto one pipe end
4. Butt two pipe ends tightly, keep gap minimal
5. Center rubber gasket over the joint
6. Place stainless steel shield over gasket
7. Tighten bolts crosswise and gradually to recommended torque
8. Do not over-tighten to avoid gasket damage

3. Final Inspection  

- Gasket evenly compressed, no extrusion or distortion

- Coupling firmly clamped, no looseness

- Pipes well-aligned, no obvious deflection

- No leakage after water/air test

- Rotate and check for no friction or interference

- Installation meets ASTM C1277 / ASTM A888 standard
